With a legacy of over 50 years, the LP Group has been in the textile industry since its inception standing strong from generation to generations. Their spectrum of textiles encompasses from farm to fashion. The group started in 1965 in the name of Jitendra Kumar Lalbhai with the vision of indenting and catering the domestic market with their goodwill, experience and knowledge. When the second generation stepped in the vision snowballed into serving the world with Indian cotton yarn and a new company was formed in the name of Acme International Limited in 1996. Under the name of Acme, the group exported cotton yarn across the globe, serving over 50 countries. In 2010, with experience, knowledge base and team, Acme ventured into yarn manufacturing in the name of Acme Yarns Pvt. Ltd. establishing the most important pillar of textile, i.e. manufacturing. The journey of becoming a reliable name in the textile industry has always been raising its benchmark higher and higher. Today the LP Group has 8 companies under its wings from indenting – trading – manufacturing – e-commerce – distribution – brands & retail spanning the whole gamut of textile products
Large Production Capacity
Established in 2010, Acme Yarns was set-up with 30000 spindles and with time we expanded our capacities and diversified our range in textile. Today, we have large capacities across the value chain of textile with a production capacity of
- Ginning raw cotton ( 50000 tons/year)
- Spinning yarn ( 24000 tons/year)
- Weaving ( 45 million meters/year)
- Denim ( 2.5 million meters/year)
- Knitting ( 3600 tons/year)
- Finishing (15 million meters/year
- Garmenting ( 1.2 million pieces/year)
With such mammoth production capacities, it gives us an edge to be able to serve our customers with shorter lead-time, competitive pricing and all products under a single roof.

With our large scale, experience and expert team, we can offer flexibility to our customer for shipping the yarn with a various count under a single container. This helps our customers in keeping lesser stock of the same product at their warehouses and faster turn-around time for our customer with reducing inventories. We offer the same flexibility to our customer who are buying fabric, whereby we can ship multiple fabric slots under one container leading to reduced inventory cycle and faster turnover for our customer finances.

Our five quality control offices which are located at Ahmedabad, Ludhiana, Indore, Tirupur and Madurai guarantee quality check as per the norms agreed upon; covering the entire country. Market Reports & Update
The research team of the group publishes the weekly “Market Watch” detailing the trends , movements of all textile raw materials and how markets are behaving. This then is one of the most important sources for our customers to enhance their buying decisions
Design Team
Acme has its own design team which is working consistently towards developing new and special products in yarn , fabrics and finished products. The design team also helps in designing and engineering special made-to products for our customers after understanding specific requirements. This is a big added advantage for our customers especially in finished products. Even in products like yarns Acme has more then 1000 special products under its portfolio giving customer a vide variety to choose from.
